Our Purpose
To provide efficient, high-quality maintenance of the City's public rights-of-way and infrastructure while promoting the safety, mobility, and quality of life of our residents.
What We Do
The Street Division is responsible for maintaining the City's transportation infrastructure, public rights-of-way, and municipal grounds. Our services include:
Street Maintenance:
Maintain more than 120 miles of City streets including pothole repairs and routine roadway maintenance.
Traffic Signage:
Install, replace, and maintain City rights-of-way and other public areas.
Right-of -Way Maintenance:
Mow, trim, and maintain City rights-of-way and other public areas.
Litter Control:
Provide daily litter collection and cleanup throughout the City.
Municipal Grounds:
Maintain City-owned grounds, properties, and facilities.
Construction Inspection:
Inspect public infrastructure and construction activities to ensure compliance with City standards and approved plans.
Hazard Response:
Respond to roadway hazards and weather-related conditions, including fallen trees, severe weather, snow, and ice.
Emergency Response:
Provide 24/7 on-call response to address urgent transportation and roadway issues and help protect public safety.
