During the March 24th 2026 regular city council meeting, Mayor and Council, unanimously (5-0), adopted a 180-day moratorium on accepting certain applications, while the zoning ordinance rewrite is underway. The moratorium will impact the acceptance, processing, and approval of applications for zoning map amendments/rezonings, text amendments and conditional use applications.

Utility Customer Notice: Temporary Relief Measures
At a Special Called Meeting on Friday, October 31, the Mayor and City Council approved temporary measures in response to the federal government shutdown to support residents who may be financially impacted. The City will waive water service cut-offs and penalties and allow flexible payment plans.
