Union City Commemorates Veterans Park with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony!

(Union City, GA) - The City of Union City is proud to announce the upcoming ribbon

cutting ceremony for the highly anticipated Union City Veterans Park, a public space dedicated to honoring the brave men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces.

The ceremony will be held on October 8 at 10 AM at 3660 Royal South Parkway, celebrating the official opening of a project dedicated to honoring the service and sacrifices of our veterans.

Union City Veterans Park is designed for residents of all ages and features amenities that promote outdoor activities, reflection, and community connection.

"The Council and I are honored to open Veterans Park, a space that will forever commemorate the bravery and sacrifices of our veterans," said Mayor Vince R.

Williams. "This park will serve as a place of reflection and gratitude, where our community can come together to pay tribute to those who have served our country."

Park Features:

• Connecting Bridge: A beautiful bridge connecting various parts of the park, enhancing accessibility, and offering scenic views

• Nature Trail Around Pond: A tranquil trail encircling the pond, perfect for walking, jogging, and enjoying nature.

• Pond Fountains: Elegant fountains within the pond that add to the park's aesthetic appeal.

• Formal Memorial Area: A dedicated space for reflection and remembrance, honoring veterans, and significant events
