Due to inclement weather, the Union City Reimagine Fridays: Juneteenth Celebration scheduled for Friday, June 19, 2026, at Eagles Nest Sports Complex has been cancelled.
In observance of the Juneteenth Holiday, all Union City administrative offices will Be closed on Thursday, June 18th, 2026 at 1pm and will reopen on Monday, June 22nd, 2026 for normal business operations. Water payments can be placed in the night deposit box located in the employee parking lot of City Hall. Payments must be placed in an envelope with an account number and/or bill. No Cash!
During the March 24th 2026 regular city council meeting, Mayor and Council, unanimously (5-0), adopted a 180-day moratorium on accepting certain applications, while the zoning ordinance rewrite is underway. The moratorium will impact the acceptance, processing, and approval of applications for zoning map amendments/rezonings, text amendments and conditional use applications.
