We are urging our residents to prepare for moderate to heavy snowfall today, expected from 7 AM to 8 PM. The highest snow potential will be along and east of Interstate 75. Your safety and mobility are our top priorities during this time, and the Public Services Department is diligently addressing the impact of snow and ice across our city.

What to expect:

- Moderate to heavy snow, especially in eastern areas⁣

- Wind gusts up to 35 mph⁣

- Hazardous travel conditions⁣

- Falling tree limbs, which may damage natural gas meters or expose gas lines⁣

What we’re doing:⁣

- Treating key roadways to ensure safe travel⁣

- Responding promptly to changing conditions⁣

- Prioritizing the most critical areas for treatment⁣

Safety reminders:⁣

- If you see a damaged meter or exposed gas line, leave the area immediately and call 911 or Atlanta Gas Light’s 24-hour emergency response line at 1-877-427-4321 from a safe location.⁣

- Consider delaying all travel if possible. If you must go out, keep emergency supplies in your vehicle and dress appropriately.⁣

- Stay indoors until conditions improve.⁣

We kindly ask for your patience and cooperation as we focus on these efforts. As the weather continues to affect our area, please stay alert and informed about ongoing conditions and safety measures.
