City of Union City Announces Reimagine Fridays, a New Community Entertainment Experience Designed to Reclaim, Renew and Reimagine Friday

 

(Union City, GA) - The City of Union City is inviting residents to experience a new era of Friday nights through Reimagine Fridays, a weekly experience where food, fun, music, and community come together. The first event will take place on Friday, May 29, at 6:30 PM at Eagles Nest Sports Complex, located at 6245 Roosevelt Highway, Union City, GA 30291. Reimagine Fridays will continue for four Fridays, with the final event scheduled for June 19. Reimagine Fridays will create a high-energy destination for residents and visitors each Friday evening, featuring:

• Live DJs and entertainment
• Signature line dancing
• Premium food trucks
• Kickball showdowns
• Family-friendly games and activities for all ages
• Positive vibes and community connection

“Our residents have expressed the desire for more restaurants, entertainment, and gathering spaces within the city,” said Mayor Vince Williams. “The City Council and I hear that. We agree. And while growth is already happening throughout our community, Reimagine Fridays is an opportunity to create energy now, support business activity, and demonstrate the incredible potential that exists within our city.”

“This is not just an event series,” said City Manager Sonja Fillingame. “This is about creating a feeling. We want residents to leave saying, ‘This feels like home. This feels like community. This feels like the future of Union City."

Reimagine Fridays will be a special experience where residents will get a chance to unwind after the workweek, families can enjoy the park together, and neighbors can celebrate connection.
