The Gathering Place Community Center

Located at 6280 Bryant Street near the Union City Eagles Ball Fields, the Gathering Place Community Center was previously home to Union City Elementary School which once stood as an oasis of education for Fulton County residents. In continuance of that spirit, the 25,000 square foot facility hosts new cultural programs including performing arts, business acceleration, exercise, improved indoor recreation and more. The center contains an indoor gymnasium, a state-of-the-art performance theater, courtyard with beautiful open space, a dining hall, and several multipurpose rooms.

Dance Room/Studio
With a mirrored wall, specialized flooring, and vibrant ambiance, our dance room/studio provides the perfect environment for individuals to express themselves through the art of dance and exercise.

Dining Hall
Indulge in the convenience of our dining hall, complete with hot and cold food storage options, an open counter for quick service, and ample space for gatherings and meetings. Indoor Gymnasium

Fitness Room
Stay healthy and in shape in our well-equipped fitness room. The fitness room contains treadmills, elliptical machines, stationary bikes, various weight machines and free weights.

Game Room
The game room is filled with games for all to enjoy. Whether a game of pool, foosball, table tennis, or bumper pool, we are sure to meet your needs.

Multipurpose Rooms
Our multipurpose rooms are versatile spaces within a facility, accommodating a range of activities such as meetings, events, and educational/training classes. Their flexibility fosters inclusivity, making them invaluable for a variety of community needs.

Outdoor Courtyard

Rental Information

The Gathering Place has multiple rooms available for rental including weddings, family or community events. Our spacious multi-purpose rooms, theater, dining hall and courtyard are sure to make your event a success!

Multi-Purpose Rooms

Deposit: $300 for City Residents; $350 for Non-City Residents
Rental Fee (2-hour minimum): $150 and $35 per additional hour for City Residents; $175 and $50 per additional hour for Non-City Residents
