During the March 24th 2026 regular city council meeting, Mayor and Council, unanimously (5-0), adopted a 180-day moratorium on accepting certain applications, while the zoning ordinance rewrite is underway. The moratorium will impact the acceptance, processing, and approval of applications for zoning map amendments/rezonings, text amendments and conditional use applications.
Pre-Development meetings are a free service offered by the City of Union City.They are held every Tuesday afternoon from 1 pm to 4 pm in 30 minutes intervals. Meetings are held either by Zoom, Microsoft teams, or City Hall, located at 5041 Union Street Union City, Ga 30291.
