Backyard Blends: Summer Harvest Festival Recap

Guests participated in energizing workout sessions led by The Bar ATL and Jill Miller Fitness. DJ Master Toby kept the energy high and the music flowing throughout the event, creating an exciting and welcoming atmosphere for everyone.
Families also enjoyed free, refreshing smoothies, while our youngest attendees had a great time blowing bubbles, planting seeds, and participating in the workout sessions. It was wonderful to see children learning, creating, staying active, and getting their hands in the soil.
Eric Givens did a great job serving as the speaker for the Master Gardeners Q&A. He shared valuable gardening information and answered questions to help residents feel more confident about planting, growing, and caring for their gardens.
Attendees received free Growing Together merchandise, seeds to help start their community winter gardens, and digital copies of the Union City Almanac: Your Seasonal Guide to Growing Together. The almanac is a year-round resource filled with seasonal gardening information, growing tips, planting guidance, and helpful resources for Union City residents.
