Youth Programs
Baseball/Softball
Welcome to Union City's Spring Youth Baseball & Softball Program, tailored for kids aged 3-14! Our program combines recreation and competition, providing a supportive environment for young athletes to learn the fundamentals of the game.
As part of the program, each player receives a complete uniform package, including a game jersey, pants, socks, hat, and belt. We ask parents to contribute cleats, a glove, a batting helmet, and a baseball bat to ensure your child is fully equipped for the season.

Welcome to Union City's Fall Youth Football Program, where kids aged 3-12 engage in a dynamic mix of skill development and camaraderie. Our recreational environment focuses on teaching the fundamentals while fostering healthy competition based on recreational talent. Each player receives a game jersey, pants, and a participant trophy, while parents are asked to provide cleats, a helmet, shoulder pads, a 7-piece pad set, and practice attire for their child. Safety is paramount, with league divisions organized into single age groups to adhere to rigorous safety guidelines.

Miracle League
Welcome to Union City's Miracle League Program, a dedicated space for children and adults facing physical or mental disabilities to experience the joy of baseball. Our program passionately removes barriers that often exclude individuals from conventional Baseball Leagues, promoting self-esteem, social skills, and physical abilities.
Games are thoughtfully played inside the gymnasium, accommodating wheelchairs and other devices while prioritizing safety and injury prevention. Join us in creating a community that celebrates diversity and inclusion, where the focus is on the love of the game and the empowerment it brings to every participant.
Soccer

Line Dancing
Immerse yourself in a total body workout that enhances cardio fitness through the joy of line dancing. Perfect for all skill levels, our classes feature the latest dance moves set to your favorite tunes. Get ready to break a sweat, improve your health, and make fitness a party. Lace up those dancing shoes and let's dance towards a healthier, happier you! Classes are currently held on Thursdays at 6:30PM at The Gathering Place Community Center.
Pickleball
Discover the excitement of Pickleball, the fastest-growing sport globally! Join us on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00AM – 12:00PM & Fridays 6:00PM-8:00PM inside the Union City's Gathering Place gym for a game that welcomes all skill levels. Whether you're a seasoned player or just starting out, come and be a part of the Pickleball community as we share the joy of this inclusive and dynamic sport! Outdoor Pickleball court is also available 7 days a week at Ronald Bridges Park.
Yoga
Unwind, stretch, and center yourself midweek with a relaxing yoga session designed for adults of all experience levels. Join us every Wednesday at The Gathering Place for a gentle yet energizing practice that promotes mindfulness, movement, and connection. Whether you’re brand new or experienced, you’ll find a welcoming space to breathe deeply, move mindfully, and restore balance to your week. Classes currently take place on Wednesdays at 6:30 PM at The Gathering Place Community Center

Ladies, lace up your sneakers and join the excitement of the Women’s Kickball League! Designed for women 18 and over, our league offers a recreational environment where you can compete and have a blast. Etris-Darnell Senior Center
Nestled at 5285 Lakeside Drive, the Etris-Darnell Senior Center stands as a vibrant hub for community engagement and recreation. Beyond its role as an energetic recreational space, Etris-Darnell fulfills a vital function as a gathering place for seniors, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie.
The Gathering Place Community Center
Located at 6280 Bryant Street near the Union City Eagles Ball Fields, the Gathering Place Community Center was previously home to Union City Elementary School which once stood as an oasis of education for Fulton County residents.
