During the March 24th 2026 regular city council meeting, Mayor and Council, unanimously (5-0), adopted a 180-day moratorium on accepting certain applications, while the zoning ordinance rewrite is underway. The moratorium will impact the acceptance, processing, and approval of applications for zoning map amendments/rezonings, text amendments and conditional use applications.

Description: The City is seeking qualified contractors to provide the requested work which consists of streetscape improvements on Shannon Parkway and Phase 1 demolition for the future Shannon Parkway Park. The streetscape project consists of 1.1 miles of roadway improvements. The improvements include the restoration of damaged pavement, the addition of a 5’-10’ wide sidewalk, road widening and the addition of drainage improvements. The park project consists of the removal of all concrete and gravel plus all trees within the limits of disturbance.
