The Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) is prepared and presented by the City of Union City’s Finance Department. The CAFR includes the City’s financial position and results of operations, as well as demographic and statistical information to help the reader understand the financial condition of the City for each fiscal year ending on August 31. 

Additionally, Georgia law requires that all public entities undergo an annual financial audit. The financial statements have been verified by an independent, external auditor as required by law and in order to ensure the financial statements fairly present the financial position of the City of Union City.
